ABOUT US
Mike, the owner of Ridge 2 River Outdoors, retired from the U.S. Army in 2021 after more than 20 years of honorable service. A lifelong outdoorsman, Mike has been fishing and hunting for as long as he can remember. The woods and the water have always been his place of peace—where he can reset, reflect, and recharge.

In 2020, Mike founded Ridge 2 River Outdoors, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, with a mission to deliver high-quality outdoor products to outdoorsmen and women across this great nation.
In 2015, Mike joined The Fallen Outdoors, the nation’s largest veteran-focused outdoor nonprofit organization, and now proudly serves as its President. The Fallen Outdoors provides Gold Star families, veterans, and currently serving military members with outdoor therapeutic adventures throughout the United States. These experiences help foster connection, healing, and hope through the outdoors.

For Mike and countless others, the outdoors is more than a passion—it’s a lifeline. The mission is deeply personal and driven by the goal of reducing “22,” the number that represents the daily loss of service members to suicide. Through community, purpose, and time in nature, Mike is committed to helping lower that number—one outdoor experience at a time.
